Rev. Dr. Vincent Keith Brown is the Senior Pastor of Refuge Church Ministries II (RCM II), Glen Burnie, Maryland. Known by his middle name “Keith” he serves in RCM II with his wife, Rev. Iantha Q. Brown. In October of 2002, Dr. Brown accepted his call to spoken word ministry, and in 2005 was ordained “Reverend” by Refuge Church Ministries, Incorporated and the Alliance of Christian Churches International. He and Rev. Iantha Brown were installed as the Founding Pastors of RCM II on September 10, 2009. They opened the doors of the church at the Ramada Inn-BWI in Hanover, MD in September 27, 2009.

Dr. Brown loves praising God through the preached word and through his music ministry. He is known for his anointed service as a pianist and organist. He is an avid teacher and preacher of the Gospel and has been a musician in the Lord’s service for over 47 years!

Dr. Brown received his most recent training at Denver Seminary concentrating his additional Doctoral studies in Pastoral Skills and Pastoral Leadership. He holds a separate Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California (USC), 2 Master’s degrees in Public Administration – one from American University and the 2nd Master’s from USC. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from N.C. Agricultural & Technical State University, Greensboro, N.C. In addition, he accomplished numerous leadership and management training to include Executive leadership training from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and the Eastern Leadership Development Center. He also completed courses in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Administration at George Washington University, Washington, DC. He is a retired Engineer and Executive Manager, having worked for the Department of Defense for 34 years. He retired in 2016 from DoD at the rank of GS-15.

He has served in many church and community related activities and is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

As God’s messenger, he serves the Kingdom through his work at RCM II. He continues to give God thanks and praise for the great things He has done! Under his leadership, RCM II not only serves the local Glen Burnie area providing a place to worship, but RCM II has taken on many projects: outreach to homeless and less fortunate including battered women ministries, prayer ministries, Men and Women’s ministries, holiday “joy” ministries that include toys/presents for kids, Back to school supply ministries, and meals for Senior citizens for Thanksgiving and Christmas, to name a few.

Dr. Brown and Rev. Brown reside in Hanover, MD and have two adult children: Vincent and Alicia.
